Services

Software for the work your business actually does

I design and build web applications, React Native apps, business systems and the integrations between them. One point of contact, from the first conversation about how your business works to maintenance after launch.

01What I offer

From booking flows to back-office systems

For each service: who it suits, the problems it solves and what you get. Where there is published work to point to, it is linked.
  1. Websites and web applications

    Who it helps

Businesses that need a fast public website, a customer portal, or a booking or ordering flow that takes the work off the phone and the inbox.

    Problems it solves

    • A slow or outdated site that is hard to update
    • Bookings and orders handled by hand over calls and messages
    • The same details typed twice, once on the website and again in the back office

    What you get

    • Responsive front end in Next.js or React
    • Django back end with an admin your team can use
    • Booking, ordering or account flows, including online payment
    • Deployment, domain and SSL setup, with SEO and analytics basics
  2. Mobile apps with React Native

    Who it helps

Teams that need an app for customers or staff on both iOS and Android, often alongside an existing web product.

    Problems it solves

    • Staff or customers who need to submit details, photos or requests on the go
    • A web app that is awkward to use on a phone
    • Two separate native apps that are expensive to keep in step

    What you get

    • React Native (Expo) app for iOS and Android
    • Sign-in, forms and photo or file upload
    • Notifications and offline-friendly screens where they matter
    • Connection to your existing API, or a new one
  3. Backend development and API integrations

    Who it helps

Products that need a dependable API, and businesses whose systems need to exchange data without someone copying it across.

    Problems it solves

    • Payments, maps, SMS and email added piecemeal and hard to debug
    • Data trapped in one system while another needs it
    • Integrations that break silently when a provider changes something

    What you get

    • REST APIs with Django REST Framework
    • Data models in PostgreSQL or MySQL
    • Payment, maps, SMS and email integrations (for example PayPal, Google Maps, Twilio)
    • Webhook receivers and small Node.js services where they fit
    • API documentation your team can work from
  4. Business process automation and Zoho

    Who it helps

Companies that run on Zoho, or on spreadsheets and email threads that the business has outgrown.

    Problems it solves

    • Approvals and hand-offs that live in email
    • The same record entered in several apps
    • Reports assembled by hand every week

    What you get

    • Custom Zoho Creator applications
    • Deluge scripts, workflows and scheduled automations
    • Integrations between Zoho and outside services, such as webhooks into Zoho CRM
    • Custom React front ends or Python services on top of Zoho data
  5. Custom management systems

    Who it helps

Organizations whose core process, such as stock, accounts, cases or appointments, does not fit off-the-shelf software.

    Problems it solves

    • Inventory and finances tracked in disconnected tools
    • No clear record of who changed what, and when
    • Staff working around the software instead of with it

    What you get

    • Web systems with roles and permissions
    • Inventory, accounting and reporting modules
    • Odoo ERP module customization
    • Data migration from spreadsheets or old systems
    • Admin dashboards and PDF reports
  6. Maintenance and ongoing improvements

    Who it helps

Owners of an existing website or web app who need a dependable developer to keep it healthy and moving forward.

    Problems it solves

    • Outdated dependencies and unresolved bugs
    • Slow pages and fragile deployments
    • A backlog of small features nobody has time for

    What you get

    • Bug fixes and dependency upgrades
    • Performance and security reviews
    • Small, regular feature releases
    • Backups, monitoring and handover documentation

02Process

What working together looks like

From understanding how your business works today to launch, handover and the support that follows.
  1. Understand

We start with how your business works today: the people, the steps and the data. I ask questions until the problem is specific enough to build for.

  2. Plan

I propose a scope, a stack and a sequence of milestones, so you know what arrives when and what each part depends on.

  3. Build

Work arrives in small, reviewable increments with working demos along the way, so you see progress instead of hearing about it.

  4. Launch and support

I handle deployment and handover, then stay available for fixes, improvements and the next round of features.

03Getting started

What to send me

You don’t need a formal brief. A few lines on each of these points is plenty to start a useful conversation.

Helpful to include

  1. What your business does and who will use the software
  2. The problem to solve, or the process to replace
  3. Systems it has to work with (Zoho, Odoo, payment providers, existing databases)
  4. Your timeline, and any fixed dates

Not sure which service fits?

Describe the problem in your own words. I will reply with questions, an honest view of the options and a suggested first step.
